In accordance with statute, the persons elected as Reeve and Councillors for the year 1911 assembled today at the house of Ed. Ziebart, to the order of C. Walther, who has acted as Returning Officer.  Present: Mr. D.J. Kelly, Reeve, and Messers John M. O'Connor, Wm. Giermann, Mich. Kelly and Frank Jahn, Councillors.

After making and subscribing their declaration of qualification and office, each severally for himself, they assumed their seats and proceeded to business.

A petition signed by 56 ratepayers praying for the abolition of dog tax was presented.

A bylaw was passed after three readings appointing the following officers:
As pathmasters: John Walther, Fred Kosmack, Frank Heidemann, Chas. Giermann, Patrick Bennett, Michael O'Connor, Nicholas Foy, John P. Foran, Michael Kelly, Frank Kilby, Reinhold Raddatz, Charles Handke, Fred Zoschke, Fred Weiland, Patrick Donahue, Ernest Lenser, Jas Quinn, J.B. Gallagher, Wm. Mueller, Ludwig Neumann, Joseph Sauer, August Schauer, Albert Weiland, Wm. Felhaber, John Dillon, Martin Gannon.
As pond keepers: X. Plaunt, Richard Jahn and Hugh Gallager Fr.
As clerk: C. Walther.
As assessor: R. Schweigert.
As auditors: D.J. Ryan and Michael O'Connor.
As truant officer: John Walther

Moved by M. Kelly, seconded by F. Jahn, that the offer of P. McHugh to do the municipal printing under the former terms be accepted and that all printing during the present year be done in his office.

August Teller was re-appointed member of Board of Health for 1911-12-3.

An order was drawn in favor of C. Walther for $2.00 for his service at nomination.

Moved by J. O'Connor, seconded by W. Giermann, that this Council do now adjourn to meet again on Saturday, the 3rd day of June at the same place; that the Court of Revision be held on that day and that the Council as a committee of the whole proceed to the bridge in Div. 11 near the Baptist church, to let the contract for rebuilding the said bridge of stone.*
