Green Island

Owned by the Lake Clear Conservancy Land Trust

Two lagoons and many plant species can be found on this island, including the rare Rocky Mountain woodsia. Other rare plants that may be seen include:  marsh bedstraw, upland white aster, false nettle, and northern willow herb.  Also, look for swamp loosestrife (swamp candles) and the very poisonous water hemlock.
