Lake Clear Song

27/3/2018

Our family had a hand built cottage on the lake for decades. I wrote this song in 1990 and produced this song just a few years ago. Feel free to share and feedback is appreciated.
Thanks,

Great song - captured so well the essence of Lake Clear. Sad for you that you no longer have that special place.

I loved every minute we spent there as a family. The song was just a string of memories. One day we will be back to write the next chapter.

Hi Chris, Beautiful song, and so well performed....thanks so much for sharing it! My family's cottage is two doors away from the cottage you remember so fondly, so I completely relate to your memories of it and of Lake Clear. We are so fortunate that my parents still have their place and that we are still able to enjoy so much time at it. The lake is as beautiful as ever, and we hope that someday you will be able to make your way back to it. All the best Chris, and thank you again for your lovely song.

Hi Chris, Your song is wonderful and I loved the lyrics and the loons. It brought a lump to my throat thinking how difficult it must have been for you to leave that last time. Sure hope you get back for a visit in the near future. It's still as beautiful as ever.

Hi Chris: your song is wonderful !
I fondly remember many a 24th of May gathering at your cottage, when your Dad and Uncle Jerry put off fireworks, ending with the "Burning Schoolhouse". Thanks for bringing to mind, lots of great memories of cottage days with all your aunts and uncles.

Remember all of the gang from our bay. We try and get back at least once a year. Usually just to Opeongo Mountain resort due to the limited cottages for rent in the summer. Keep an eye out though ;) We always cruise "the bay"

Sincerely,
The Fortiers
