The LCPOA is pleased to offer up to two $1000.00 scholarships to students who are pursuing post-secondary education in a program, either full or part time, in the academic year 2017-2018, that is related to environmental studies. Applicants must be either a resident of The Township of Bonnechere Valley and/or a relative of a member in good standing of the LCPOA. Applications must be received by May 1st, 2017. Toy Bus Play and Learn - Run by the Community Resource Centre in Killaloe
The Toy Bus Play and Learn Groups run from 10 am to 11:30 - Drop-in runs from Labour Day to the end of June. Saturday, April 29th - My Big Fun *BUPL Wedding - A fundraiser for the library - 5:00 cocktails, 6:00 dinner, 9:00 music & dancing - Eagle's Nest banquet hall above the Eganville Arena (elevator available) - $40 or $10 for dance only - tickets available until Apr. 14 at the library - activities, skits, live auction - This evening will celebrate weddings of all kinds. Costumes are encouraged. Each table is decorated for a different wedding theme (e.g. Irish wedding, destination wedding, Vegas wedding, hunt camp wedding, you get the idea... and you'll get to see them all).

Alex is a forager, mushroom whisperer, and herbalist in training. They make products from wild plants, trees and fungi foraged locally.
